Looking for a camp that’s actually exciting? Our 4-Hour Kids Ice Fishing Camp gives young adventurers a hands-on, unforgettable experience on the ice. Unlike typical indoor or summer camps, this winter program lets kids learn real outdoor skills in a fun, safe, and fully guided environment.

Give your child a full week of outdoor adventure with OPS Experience’s ice fishing camp on the beautiful Fox Chain O’ Lakes! For just $695 per week, campers ages 11+ will enjoy:
- Guided fishing
- All fishing gear & equipment provided

*over 16 you will need a valid Illinois Fishing License, a small fee is required if camper uses live bait (minnows)
Q: Can campers bring their own fishing gear (tackle, rods, and reels)?
A: Yes! Campers are welcome to bring their own gear if they’d like. We also provide all necessary equipment.
Q: Can my child keep there catch?
A: Yes, and we actually reserve time in the camp to teach them how to clean fish. *All fish must meet local and state min. lengths for size limits & creel limits are strictly followed.
Q: Do you offer after-care?
A: Yes, we offer after-care for parents who need a little extra time before pickup. Please contact us for details and availability.
Q: Are your guides First Aid and CPR certified?
A: Absolutely. All of our guides are trained and certified in First Aid and CPR to ensure camper safety at all times.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: No worries! While we’re outdoors as much as possible, we have indoor backup activities like lure making, lure painting, fly tying, and other fun educational projects. It rarely happens in our heated tents, but if it does, your camper is covered!
Q: What time does camp start and end each day?
A: Camp runs from 8 AM to 12PM or 4 pm for Full day. We also offer after-care if you need a later pickup time.
Q: How many campers are there per guide?
A: We maintain a low camper-to-guide ratio to ensure personalized attention and safety. Typically, there are no more than 5 campers per guide.
Q: What’s the age range for your summer camps?
A: Our camps are designed for kids ages 11 and up. We offer a great learning experience for beginners and more experienced young anglers alike! If your camper is a little younger shoot us an email!
Q: What should my child wear to camp?
A: We recommend comfortable clothes dress like your are going skiing. A comprehensive list is sent to each camper upon sign up or you can call our office for more questions. Snow pants, Hat, Jacket and gloves
Q: Is there a full day option?
A: YES, we do require a min. of 5 participants we do have a wait list you can join.
Q: Can we get a private group camp?
A: YES, you must pay for a min. of 5 attendees. This does not mean you need 5 guests but you will need to pay for 5 vouchers. And your group would have there own designated hot spot and guide/s
Q: What are the extra fees?
A: Only if you add to your camp experience. Bait and Equipment is provided!
